3-Day Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour
Cross the High Atlas, sleep in a luxury Sahara camp and ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset.
All our desert tours departing from Marrakech: the classic 3-day Merzouga tour, luxury upgrades, and one-way routes to Fes.
Every Marrakech desert tour follows the same legendary road: over the Tizi n’Tichka pass in the High Atlas, to the UNESCO kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, through Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses to a night in the Dades Valley, then via the Todra Gorges to Merzouga. There you swap wheels for a camel and cross the Erg Chebbi dunes at sunset to your camp.
Three days is the classic format. Two days is possible but rushed; four days lets you breathe. All formats run as private, small-group or shared tours with daily departures from Marrakech.

Standard camps are comfortable with real beds and shared or private facilities depending on the tour. Luxury camps add en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, larger tents and finer dining. Either way you get dinner, breakfast, music around the fire and a sky full of stars.
