7-Day Grand Morocco Tour from Tangier
Arriving by ferry from Spain? Start in Tangier and sweep south through the blue city, Fes and the Sahara.
Tangier is Morocco’s gateway from Europe: ferries cross from Spain in under an hour, and from its white medina the whole country unrolls south — blue Chefchaouen, ancient Fes, and the dunes at the far end of the road.
A tour from Tangier is a journey with a plot. You begin where two seas meet, in the city that has mixed Europe and Africa for a thousand years, then climb into the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen, the blue city. From there the road runs to Fes — with Volubilis’ Roman ruins and imperial Meknes on the way — before turning south across the Middle Atlas to Merzouga, where the Erg Chebbi dunes give your trip its desert chapter. The longest Tangier tours continue over the kasbah road to finish in Marrakech or Casablanca, so you can fly home from a different city than the one you arrived in.
Our Tangier departures range from a 3-day blue-city and Fes combination to the full 7 and 8-day north-to-Sahara traverses, plus day trips to Chefchaouen and Tetouan for travellers based in Tangier itself. Pickup is from the port, the airport or your hotel — tell us how you arrive and we will be there.

Desert tours, multi-day journeys and day trips starting in Tangier — every one with pickup from your accommodation and an English-speaking local driver-guide.
